Hello Lessners, I live in Toronto, Canada. My Mother is Elizabeth Lessner, my grandfather was Mano(Emanuel)Lessner, a large wine merchant family from Tapolca, HUNGARY. I was in the Jewish cemetary in Tapolca a few years ago, where there is a monument dediacted to the Lessner family, whose ancestors have come from Germany in the late 1700-s and settled in the wine-growing region of Hungary around Lake Balaton. Finally found a website for Lessner, my family name. My family is from downriver Detroit on the island of Grosse Ile and Berlin Twp. Monroe County, MI. Would love to hear from relatives. Thought the family was originally from a little town on the German Poland border.

Hello to the international Lessner family, i live near Dusseldorf in Germany, but i was born in Lower-Saxony, where my grandparents still live. Excellent web page. I used to live in IB back in the mid-sixties. What a great town - i loved evey minute there. Miss it a lot and wish I could come "home"; but I'm stuck here in Silicon Valley. This is Lesner from Wroclaw , Poland. My grandpa Roman moved from Denmark to Poland after first World War and settled down near Czersk ( north Poland).Children - Edward, Adolf,Franek,Jan,Leokadia,Zofia.His son Edward Was killed during second war another son Adolf remained in Germany after he met Wera. So I know I have any family in west Germany but we lost contact during komunists rulled in Poland.Best regards for all Lesners or Lessners all around the world.
